In April 2017 we founded the NeXt group with the goal to promote open hardware, software and standardized interfaces for the lift industry.
The first open hardware project was the Thor lift controller from SafeLine. They provided the schematics of their new controller as a reference design for next generation developments.
Last year the Motum group decided to develop an own new lift controller based on this reference design but modified for their needs and now, after only 6 month they started successfully with the new state-of-the-art lift controller M18.
