For the NeXt group a successful year comes to an end, a good time for a brief review of the last few months.
In 2018 we have gained four new members, Mitsubishi Elevator Europe from the Netherlands, Jonathan Beebe from UK, Semitron from Greece and the Motum group from Sweden. With the Thor NX-T2, the first reference hardware for a control system under a free license was published last year and has already been used by two companies as a basis for their own developments. The open description and implementation of a cloud interface is also progressing steadily and more and more services are being implemented. At the Elevcon in Berlin the NeXt group was present with a stand and we had many interesting discussions with participants who are interested in open standards in the industry.
We wish all members and users of open systems a good start into the New Year and look forward to the interesting exchange and many new members and projects.
